Enhanced environment, enhanced learning!
Isaac Newton School have been having some large building work carried out over the past 11 months to support their expansion to a two form entry.
The builders arrived on site in February last year and we are thrilled to report that the changes and improvements being made to the school are now complete!
Isaac Newton School opened its doors in 1976 and since that time has grown in size and now has over 340 pupils on the roll. The recent expansion will enable them to accommodate the Local Authority with the rise in future intake of pupils.
The build has improved the quality of the learning environment thanks to the addition of a new studio hall, two new classrooms and three new intervention rooms. The remodelling of the Foundation Stage has also ensured that pupils in Reception have an even better environment.
The children have been very excited to see the building work being carried out and were very pleased to start using their new classrooms, one pupil said “We love our new classroom because there’s lots of space and we can get on with our work!”
