LEARN Teaching School are proud to announce that they will be hosting their first conference bringing practitioners together to discuss effective provision for all our children.
LEARN will be holding the SEND Conference in March 2018 at Ramada Resort, Grantham.
They are proud to be leading, in partnership with the Lincolnshire Learning Partnership.
The conference is called ‘Unite’ with its aim to bring together all practitioners from Primary, Secondary, Special & Mainstream sectors with the intention of improving outcomes for all children with a special or additional need.
LEARN are pleased to be able to announce that they have two fabulous keynote speakers who will be highlighting the key message of the conference: collaboration, and sharing their wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting children and families.
Introducing Sharon Grey...
Sharon has a wealth of experience in both mainstream and special schools. She has successfully led struggling schools into communities which embrace her belief of ‘authentic inclusion’. Her philosophy is to empower everyone to realise their potential as a successful leader & lifelong learner.
Introducing Bernard Allen...
Bernard will close our conference with his findings and beliefs based on the latest neuroscience research of motivation, mood management & self-control.
There are a wide variety of workshops for delegates to choose from; with all meeting National & Local priorities and many being led by LEARN TSA members.
Collaborative Working, Chatta, Rochford Review, The role of the SEND Governor, Emotional wellbeing for adults, High functioning ASD within the Secondary sector.
A range of support agencies have also been invited to form part of the conference marketplace, which promises to be a useful opportunity to find out about their roles, contact details and possible involvement in school.
