  • ronniemaeIsaac Newton pupil set to represent Lincolnshire

    At the start of the academic year, Isaac Newton Primary School pupil Ronnie-Mae took her place in a trial alongside a large group of other girls from across Lincolnshire. Ronnie-Mae won 3 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medal, making her joint top of the table! She has now been selected to represent her county in the Under-11s for an Athletics Regional Competition in March 2019.

  • gambia2Caythorpe pupils donate furniture to pupils in Gambia 

    After a revamp during the summer holidays, Caythorpe Primary School opted to donate their old furniture to less fortunate people in Gambia via the Nottinghamshire-based charity, Aid2Gambia. 

    Over 200 items were sent in two vans, including 140 chairs, 60 tables, 8 computer chairs, 1 computer work station and 3 wooden tray units.

    The Garth School enjoyed a fantastic day of fundraising activities for Children in Need as pupils, staff and families enjoyed bake sales and a fashion show where they paraded their spotty outfits on the catwalk.

    Friends and families were invited to join the youngsters at the bake sale to socialise over a cake and drink whilst raising funds for the famous annual event.
