    John Fielding School have won a £500 award from The Institute of Physics to hire a Jumbulance coach so that they could transport their pupils to the Eureka Science Museum in Halifax.

    This fantastic news meant that children with disabilities could enjoy a long awaited, fun filled day out  with their class mates!

  • C.I.T. awarded over £5 million to improve schoolsexterior 1

    The Community Inclusive Trust (C.I.T.) have received funding this week of 2.5 million pounds to develop and expand 3 of its Outstanding SEN schools within the Multi-Academy Trust.

    Ambergate Sports College (Grantham) The Sandon School (Grantham) and The Garth School (Spalding) will all be expanded to provide additional and necessary teaching accommodation and pupil places within Lincolnshire County.

    The Premier League Schools Tournament is one of the highlights of the Premier League Communities calendar and allows hundreds of youngsters the chance to experience the thrill of being treated like a top-flight footballer.

  • Woodlands Students to build a 10ft high bike!Scale Model Burning Bike

    Students from Woodlands Academy in Spilsby have been asked by the organisers of Lincolnshire Bike Week, to design and build a 10ft high wooden bike.
    COASTAL EVENTS CIC, supported by the BRITISH MOTORCYCLE FEDERATION & the MOTORCYCLE ACTION GROUP are organising Lincolnshire Bike Week, and expect to see thousands of visitors flock to the Lincolnshire coast this July.

    Executive Head, Daran Bland, with Headteachers James Ellis and Stela Plamenova, have all backed plans to reform the way children with learning needs and disabilities are educated in Lincolnshire.

  • Children of Courage Awards 2018Child of Courage

    On Wednesday 7th March 2018 the Urban Hotel, Grantham was the setting for The Rotary Club of Grantham Kesteven 7th annual Children of Courage Awards. All of the local children who were due to receive an award on the day were nominated by their school for, as the title suggests, showing exceptional courage in their lives.

    Two GANF pupils, Lewis Blackburn and Lyndsay Hall were invited to attend with their families and representatives from school. Read more...

  • South Holland councillors support safe sport in schools

    Priory Muga PupilsCouncillors across South Holland District Council have clubbed together to support a project at The Priory Special School in Spalding.

    Sally Slade, District Councillor for Pinchbeck and Surfleet Ward said: “I was keen to support the project as I know how important it is for the children to have structured and safe areas to play and relax in outside.”

    Woodlands Academy are pleased to announce that the challenge to restore a Reliant SS1 to MOT standard and sell it for a profit has been achieved!

    Woodlands students have been busy restoring the car as part of their BTEC Engineering Qualification.

    It proved to be the perfect car for this learning exercise, easy to work on and also economical when it came to purchasing the new parts required.

  • Chapel St Leonards Primary School joins C.I.T.Chapel

    Chapel St Leonards Primary School has converted to academy status and joined C.I.T. Academies.

    Chapel St Leonards School is a mainstream primary school within the village of Chapel St Leonards, near Skegness.  Following a consultation period the Governing Body met to consider all of the information gathered and to make a final decision about the school's future. At this meeting, it was agreed that the school would convert to an Academy as part of the Community Inclusive Trust. Read more...
