THEY'VE DONE IT!
Mr Maltby and Mr Caress completed an immense 1,000 mile cycling challenge across the country to raise funds for GANF school activities. The teachers that took on the challenge were cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats with support from two other staff members, Mr Bogumsky and Mr Buckberry.

C.I.T presented their Free School plans to the DFE on the 25th of May. The final decision, if we are successful to move onto the pre open stage, will be announced mid July.Further developments will always be posted here.

GANF student visits Buckingham Palace!Matthew Crow, a Sixth Form student at Sandon School, was fortunate enough to be invited to a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.
On 12 May 2016, by kind permission of Barnardo’s Patron Her Majesty the Queen, HRH The Duchess of Cornwall hosted a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace to commemorate the charity’s 150th anniversary. The event was to thank dedicated staff, volunteers and supporters for their hard work and commitment as well as celebrate the many achievements of the millions of people Barnardo’s has supported.
The Spalding Special Schools Federation has converted to Academy status and joined C.I.T.
As from 1st March 2016, The Priory School, The Garth School and John Fielding School have become Academies. This means that Priory, Garth and John Fielding Schools are now essentially independent schools that are funded directly from central government. Read more...
C.I.T. Outstanding Schools lead a new Teaching School
LEARN Teaching School Alliance is a new teaching school having gained accreditation in September 2015.
Sandon School and Ambergate Sports College lead the teaching school, working alongside and in collaboration with the other teaching schools within Lincolnshire they will develop the following areas (known as The Big Six):
Gold Award for Isaac Newton Primary School!
Isaac Newton Primary School has received the Sainsbury’s School Games Mark. They are the only primary school in Grantham to receive it and the award comes as recognition for all the extra curricular 'clubs' that the school offers. This includes the leadership opportunities available for playground leaders, sports council and bronze ambassadors.
