At CIT our purpose is to ensure that all pupils within our schools receive the best education and care, and that the Trust works in partnership to support and improve the education system. We support our staff to give every pupil what they need to thrive and be ready for the next stage of their lives.
CIT ensures that each school within the Trust has a School Review on an annual basis. School Reviews form the basis on which the school’s trajectory is measured and is used to assess a full range of school activities.
The following points are focused on during a School Review:
1. Quality of Education
2. Behaviours & Attitudes
3. Personal Development
4. Leadership & Management
It is the role of the Director of Education to lead the process and collate the information gathered. This formulates evidence trails, and regular meetings are held before and during the School Review to produce a report at the end of the process.
