Numerous schools across CIT took part in a range of activities during Anti-Bullying Week between Monday 10th and Friday 14th November.
Many schools, including Greenfields Academy, Poplar Farm School, Isaac Newton School and Kesteven & Sleaford High School, incorporated Odd Socks Day into their week, celebrating what makes us unique.
World Kindness Day (Thursday 13th) also fell during Anti-Bullying Week. Year 3 children at Spalding St Paul’s were greeted with positive affirmation cards, whilst Year 1 children had a kindness basket where they could share their acts of kindness. They also made handprints of what makes them kind and shared these on the class window. Meanwhile, EYFS children at Poplar Farm School shared books together.
A variety of other activities took place during the week with Woodlands Academy holding an anti-bullying poster competition, Poplar Farm Year 6s creating an anti-bullying poem and Kesteven & Sleaford High School hosting a variety of impactful assemblies and form time discussions about bullying.
