Congratulations to Tamsyn Chambers for being awarded Teaching Assistant Apprentice of the Year and to Tulip Academy Spalding on receiving the Special Recognition for Supporting Local Apprenticeships award at the Boston College Apprenticeship Awards in April.
We spoke to Tamsyn about her brilliant achievement:
‘I am extremely happy and proud of myself for achieving the Teaching Assistant Apprentice of the Year Award. I feel very privileged to have had Mr Flatt with me when I received my award, knowing how proud the school is.
I never would have been able to receive this award if it wasn’t for the support from Tulip Acadamy and my class team. I was always reminded of a quote when I was at school and it has since then stayed with me ‘Opportunities don’t happen, you create them – Chris Grosser’.”
