Greenfields Academy remains a ‘Good’ school

Greenfields Academy in Grantham are delighted to announce they continue to be a ‘Good’ school, following a visit from Ofsted in June.

The school for pupils with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs was praised for being ‘an ambitious and caring school’.

Ofsted recognised, staff build trusting and supportive relationships with pupils. Pupils are nurtured and grow in self-confidence and resilience. They are respected, valued as individuals and well cared for.’

The report added, ‘pupils’ behaviour is exemplary. Pupils focus in lessons, learn to cope socially and show respect for others. This creates a calm, respectful environment where learning can flourish.’

Greenfields has a personalised, aspirational, caring and engaging approach and curriculum, underpinned by a range of opportunities beyond the classroom.

Ofsted noted, ‘pupils value these experiences which help them develop new skills and confidence as they venture into the wider world’.
