Tulip Academy Waterside Campus has been named winner of the prestigious School Building Award at this year’s Education Business Awards, held at London’s iconic Billingsgate venue.
The award, sponsored by Cornerstone Management Services, celebrates the most technically advanced school building constructed to meet the needs of both current and future pupils. Tulip Academy’s win highlights the vision, innovation, and meticulous planning that went into the development of its state-of-the-art facilities.
Headteacher Tina Cox, Deputy Headteacher Toni Wand, and CIT’s Chief Finance and Operations Officer Daran Bland attended the ceremony to receive the accolade on behalf of the school and the wider project team.
The recognition reflects the collective effort of all those involved in the project, including the CIT Estates and Projects Team, Tilbury Douglas, Gleeds, and the Department for Education. Their combined expertise and commitment have resulted in a learning environment that sets a benchmark for modern educational design and functionality.
