Bingham and Chapel recognised at this year’s Education Business Awards

CIT - Community Inclusive Trust. Where learning comes first

We are proud to confirm that Bingham Primary School and Chapel St Leonard’s Primary School were both shortlisted at this year’s Education Business Awards 2023.

Bingham Primary School for the ‘School Building of the Year’ and Chapel St Leonard’s for the ‘Play Space’ Award.

The Education Business Awards has been recognising achievements and the hard work and dedication from schools to support their pupils, parents and staff since 1998.

Bingham Primary School is a fully electric and carbon neutral school. The £6.3million, 1FE (Form-Entry) primary school was designed and project managed by Arc Partnership, a joint venture between Nottinghamshire County Council and SCAPE, and built by Morgan Sindall Construction, who Arc Partnership appointed through the SCAPE Construction framework.

Chapel St Leonard’s Primary School’s new EYFS outdoor area has been a long time in the making. Tom Shaw, Headteacher, said:

“We are absolutely thrilled with the finished EYFS playground area. The new space will give the current Early Years children a safe space to make their own choices, develop communication, social skills, problem-solving and decision making (as well as all the children who will attend the school in later years).”

Well done to everyone involved in both of these projects!
