St Paul’s Community Primary School & Nursery is a mainstream school based in Spalding. Following a Tupe Consultation, the Governing Body considered all the information gathered, making the decision to convert to an Academy as part of the Community Inclusive Trust (CIT) on 1st February 2020.
Kira Nicholls, Headteacher (pictured above with pupils) said, “This is a very exciting time for St Paul’s and our whole school community. We have been working closely with CIT to secure rapid improvements and have been very pleased with the progress we are seeing throughout the school.
We can now continue this journey with renewed confidence to ensure we are providing the very best education for our pupils. We are all looking forward to a bright future, as the school goes from strength to strength as a result of becoming an Academy within the Trust.”
St Pauls joining CIT moves the number of schools within the Trust to 12: Five mainstream primary schools and seven special schools across Lincolnshire.
Peter Bell, CIT Chief Executive, added, “CIT have been supporting St Paul’s since September 2019 following their Ofsted inspection. The school has made significant progress since and we are delighted that they formally became part of CIT on February 1st.
We look forward to sharing in the continued positive development of the school and their drive to provide a broad and balanced education for their pupils.”
