Tulip Academy Spalding have been honoured as ‘SEND School of the Year’ in this year’s Lincolnshire Education Excellence Awards!
Recognised as an exceptional educational institution serving pupils with special educational needs, the award reflects Tulip Academy’s commitment to providing meaningful support to pupils and their families.
The school, a recent amalgamation of the former Priory School and Garth School, has made significant strides in fostering a positive relationship with the local community.
Under the leadership of Matthew Flatt, the school maintains effective relationships with parents, professionals, and the Local Authority, reinforcing a community-oriented approach. Their mission to ‘Make Every Moment Matter’ is reflected in their aspirational and purposeful curriculum, adapted to challenge all learners, and prepare them for adult life.
The school’s rich offering includes a range of additional curriculum activities and therapies designed to support students’ personal growth, encompassing everything from Lego Therapy and Equine Therapy to Work Experience Links and Sports Programmes.
