On Monday 28th October 2019, Paul Boucher stepped down as Chair of the CIT Trust Board.
Paul has been Chair of the Board since CIT was founded in 2014; prior to that he performed a number of roles within the organisation including Deputy Head at Ambergate. He is not leaving the organisation completely and will remain as a Trust Member.
I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Paul for all his support, and the time he has given the schools and the Trust over the years. He has overseen many successes and challenges as CIT has grown. The world of education within Lincolnshire will be forever in his debt, and on a personal note, I have found his leadership of the Trust Board and counsel invaluable.
I am also delighted to announce that Stephen Hopkins has been appointed as Chair of the CIT Trust Board. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, in particular through his designation as a National Leader of Governance, and I look forward to working with him. I am sure he is looking forward to meeting many of you on his travels around the schools in the coming months.”
