The Performing Arts Club, under the wonderful direction of Miss Haynes, delighted full-house audiences with both an afternoon and evening performance of The Wizard of Oz. Friends, families, and staff were taken on a magical journey down the Yellow Brick Road.
Ruby gave a standout performance as Dorothy, who landed in Oz and encountered a charming trio: the Scarecrow (Jack), the Tin Man (Jaxon), and the Cowardly Lion (Braidon). Martha brought power and mystery as the Great and Powerful Oz, while Isabella shone as Glinda the Good Witch, helping Dorothy find her way home.
Adding a fantastic comic touch were the hilarious Emerald City soldiers, Henry and Jack, and the thoughtful, philosophical guards, Albert and George, who added depth and laughter to the production. Special applause goes to Albert and Henry for their help with the music!
A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who brought the world of Oz to life by creating stunning costumes and characters—your creativity made the cast look truly magical. And of course, many thanks to the FSA for providing delicious refreshments enjoyed by all.
Bravo to our young stars for a performance to remember! 🎭🌈
